Gwendolyn & Major visiting their Pappy tonight at the Dementia Unit at Kane Regional Hospital. Moments of happiness mixed with moments of sadness. It’s difficult for my kids to see my father in this condition and then trying to makes sense of it all. Challenging times for sure. For all of us. Puts so much into perspective.

Managing Moon’s 14u Baseball Team
You are looking ‘Live’ at Walter Panek Field in Ambridge as Major, Steph and the 14u boys win Game 1 of the Ambridge Tournament 8-2 over Central Valley. Major and Steph pitched a great game! Game 2 shortly… Managing this great team of boys is beyond rewarding.

Enjoying a Full Life!
Whew! What a Day! Awesome training session this morning with the great Michael W. Cowden and the rowdy crew at Howard Hanna, followed by a very productive new client lunch, then off to a fun afternoon with my kids and later I helped my new clients submit an offer on their very first home! Blend in some additional Baseball with my son and our great Moon 14u team this week and… What a GREAT summer this is turning out to be! Hard to ask for anything more.

Father’s Day
Father’s Day is such a special time. I’m lucky to still have both of my parents in my life and my father is – my Rock. I can only hope someday to be the man he is. And being a father to my two kids, Major & Gwen is one of the greatest joys. I’m also blessed to be step-father to 3 amazing kids, Sierra, Saffron and Damian. Learning to be a step-father has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. This year, I received the coolest Father’s Day gift. My #1 Dad, Oakland A’s baseball cap! LOVE IT!

Family.
I’ve been an entrepreneur for well over 18 years. And during that time, I’ve always held close to the belief that while being an entrepreneur requires risk and a lot of hard work, it’s important to take advantage of one of the benefits and that is a flexible schedule.
This afternoon I enjoyed a short break from real estate to play in the park with my son and daughter. Being with them is a reminder of how precious ‘time’ truly is and that there is no greater gift one can give another than ‘time.’
And by the way, my son’s Whiffle Ball skills are pretty good.
