The late Jim Rohn. A giant among men. A man of principle, vision and integrity. Too bad America can’t elect a leader with the character and moral fabric of Jim.
What A Library.
My small collection of books are very important to me. These are books that helped me. Have motivated me. Have entertained me. Have awakened me. And these very special books take up a small part of my office in my home.
In fact, the great Jim Rohn used to have saying (about 40 years ago) that went like this… “Most homes over $250,000 have a library. I wonder why that is?” This was a great saying and a lesson in the importance of reading to advance one’s life’s experiences and income potential.
Now, I’ve also seen some impressive home libraries over the years. And as a Realtor I’ve seen a my share of impressive libraries as well.
But feast your eyes on this particular home library. Now this is a person with serious penchant for books! I came across this incredible photo while looking for ideas on designing home libraries.
I’ve never seen anything like it!

Jim Rohn
In 2002, I was introduced to Jim Rohn. Through the study of his work, his books and his lectures, I began to form my personal philosophy, my business philosophy and in turn develop a new outlook toward my life. I began to reexamine my relationships with my family, friends and business associates. Through the years, I’ve found that Jim’s body of work and his simple, straightforward messages continue to be very helpful and practical. And while my life is not without difficulty and while I’m certainly not exempt from the trials and tribulations many of us face daily, I find that going back to Jim’s words, listening to his lectures and revisiting his books help me to realign and at times ‘reset’ my thinking and outlook.
It’s almost 6 years since we lost Jim. But as he always preached throughout his career, the power of the spoken and written word will live on to help others and enrich their lives. It’s certainly the case with him.
